New Brighton on the Wirral coast is ideal for long exposures or, for those without filters, there are endless viewpoints for seascapes. Shooting at West Kirkby Marine Lake, then to the New Brighton Groynes, followed by Perch Rock Lighthouse, participants can practice minimalism, different exposures, and Perch Rock offers a chance at the intimate landscape.

Tripods and Wellies essential. The wall at Perch Rock should not be walked on without ice grippers underfoot – it is extremely dangerous (not just in winter)! Please bring good warm clothing and appropriate wetwear.

Bring a packed lunch if you wish although there are cafes and chip shops nearby.

Very limited walking required but slippy rocks and wet sand in abundance!
Not suitable for wheelchairs.

A Mobile phone is essential, and the number given to the leader, for anyone who wants to wander away from the group. Wandering is acceptable with appropriate communications.

This will be a category C event for up to 8 participants.
