SIG: Analogue

AGM

This year’s Annual General Meeting will be taking place on 30th March at the RPS headquarters in Bristol. As well as the AGM there will be a host of talks by various photography specialists, these include Dr Michael Pritchard FRPS who will be presenting ‘From Daguerreotype to Digital: A History of The Camera and The Image They Made’, Paul Mitchell FRPS who will talk about gaining RPS distinctions using analogue photography, and a wet plate demonstration from Steve Le Grys FRPS.

Intrepid Cameras are also sending a sample of their latest 5x4 camera along with a 10% discount for attendees.

You can book your place for this event and read through the
programme here.

AGM – important vacancies

The Group requires three officers to be validly constituted. The Hon. Secretary, Hon. Treasurer, and Chairman are all standing down at the AGM so it is very important that suitable members are nominated for these roles. There is also a committee vacancy.

If you have skills to offer, relevant experience, enthusiasm for film photography, and are willing to serve, please contact the Chairman promptly for more information about what the roles (or being on the committee) involve. Use analogue@RPS.org or see the cover letter and nomination form for more information.
